CONCLUDING BUSINESS.

The annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the New Zealand Institute was concluded yesterday. Professor H. B- __lrk' president, occupied the chair. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow :—President, Dr. P ' Marshall; hon. secretary, Mr. B. C. Aston; hon. treasurer, Mr. M. A. Eliott; hon. librarian, Professor H. B. Kirk • hon. auditor, Mr. J. C. Andersen; hon. returning officer, Professor H. W. Segar; managers of trust,-accounts, Messrs. B. C. Aston and" M. A. Eliott; research committee, Messrs. Aston, Furker, and J**. U. Morgan; publications committee, Messrs. Hudson and Anderson, and Profesors Marsden and Cotton; library commiettee, Professors Kirk, Sommerville, Cotton, and Dr. J. A. Thomson; Hector Medal committee, Professor Easterfield and Dr. Robertson. It was decided,that the next New Zealand Science Congress be held in Dunedin at the beginning of 1926, at the time of the proposed exhibition. The next annual meeting will take place,at the end of January next year. Professor Einstein, Mr. Charles HedJey, and Dr. Charles Chree were elected hon. members of the institute. ''■
