The Department ..of Agriculture is advised by the High' dated London, ■' 26th January, as follows-::—

" Wooi: Sales continue, demand still brisk, and prices on average higher for all descriptions." . The New Zealand' Wool Committee has, received the following cablegram, dated London, 26th January:—" Sales opened Tuesday; prices compared closing rates last London series: Merino, 5 per cent, to 7£ per cent, dearer; crossbred, 15 per cent, dearer."
