VISIT TO SOUTH AFRICA
PRINCE LOOKING FORWARD.
Uredter's telegram.) \ (Received 29th January, noon.) LONDON, 28th January. The Prince of Wales was the chief guest at the Anzac luncheon in connection with Australia Day celebration. In a speech he emphasised (Hie responsibilities of the citizens of Australia and New Zealand, who stood in the Southern Ocean as free citadels of British ideals of Empire. He paid a tribute to Mr. Massey s great record of service for New Zealand and the Empire. The Prince added that he could not see too ,much of the Empire. He hoped this year to see the fulfilment of his task of seeing- all the Dominions for himself, when he sailed for South Africa on Ist May. He had been looking,,forward to his visit to South Africa witli much interest.
