The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Compauy is advised,. London, 25th January, as follows:—"Butter, choicest salted, 200s -to 208s per cwt. Market affected by strike Distribution much restricted. Cheese, Id's to 105s per cwt. Market slow."'

The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office, under date 2ith January:— "Butter (slow), 204s to 206s per cwt; exceptional, 208s per cwt. Cheeie (slow), white 102s per cwt, coloured 104s per cwt. Strike accentuates dullness of markets."
