MR. HECTOR M'LEAN, "The Baker" Levin.
It has ever been a notable fact" that the quality;of bread procurable at Mr. Hector 'M'Leanss bakery in Oxford street, Levin, is far above the general average; and even visitors to the town comment on its excellence. This is accounted for to gome extent by the fact that Mr. M'Lean is a proper qualified tradesman with a thorough knowledge of the business, and possessing a determination—like most of his countrymen— to reach the pinnacle of fame in his particular line by personally supervising the operative department, and giving the public quality and full ..weight goods. M'Lean bread is delivered throughout the town on the contract system, and can always be-procured at the shop, where plentiful supplies of small goods and the best class of confectionery can also be had. Mr. M'Lean's shop is conveniently situated in the main business centre of the town, and a trial of his goods will convince all and gundry that for quality and excellence it cannot be excelled.
