ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

At the monthly meeting of the' St. John Ambulance iAssociation, it was resolved to advise the Secretary of Marino that until a uniform standard of lectures and examination was arranged for the Dominion, the Wellington Centre would accept all' Lighthouse officers sent here, the course of lectures and examination to be the same as that for seamen, with a more extended examination. The report of the Building Committee showed the estimated cost of the building to be £9000. Suggestions were made as to reduction of cost, and the amtter was referred back to the committee for .further consideration.
