PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

_ It is rarely that theatregoers in this' far-flung'" portion of the ismpire have the opportunity of seeing the great headline acts of such famous temples of amusement as the London Coliseum and the Alhambra, Leicester square, but just one of those rare opportunities occurs tonight and during the whole of next week. By the enterprise of the new management of the Paramount Theatre, Courtenay place, Long Tack Sam and his worldfamous company of Chinese magicians, jugglers, and acrobats, who have graced the stages'of the world's greatest theatres, are presented for. a brief season. The performance of Long; Tack Sam and tiie men and women from China embraces almost every phase of mysterious Chinese art, co,upled with an amazing series of acrobatic and gymnastic feats, that will thrill the most jaded amuse-ment-lover. Long Tack Sam, himself a great artist, lias a delightful stage personality, that presents ah entirely new side of the Oriental to us. His genial manner and remarkable showmanship contribute largely to the great success attendant on the. performance. Two charming little Chinese maids, daughters of Long Tack Sam, have mastered the intricacies of stage dancing to a degree that will surprise and delight their sex in these parts. The rare and costly Oriental hangings and draperies that comprise the stage setting of this remarkable performance will prove a revelation. Supporting the Chinese stars is a fine Tom Mix rJicture from Zane Grey's famous novel, "The Lone Star Ranger." The box plans for the season are now open at the Utility, adjoining the theatre, or seats may be reserved by phoning the theatre.
