PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

Theiprogramme of vaudeville and pictures will be presented at the Paramount Theatre for the last time this evening. Audrey Knight, a clever English comedienne, gives some delightful character stodie* and burlesque tarns. The main' jHctoe on the programme is a stirring Fas. melodramatic production, "Hell's Hole," which tells a vivid story of life in a. mushroom town in the Wild West. Long Tack Sam and Ida amazing troupe of Chinamen and Chinawomen will commence a brief season at the Paramount Theatre to-morrow evening, and thereafter twice daily. Long Tack Sam and his company of tee people arrive by the Auckland express to-moirow, and the afternoon wiQ be devoted to the elaborate preparations necessary for presenting this . world-famous act. His company present sensations as tare as they are thrilrmg, enhmnating in a performance upon the horizontal bars by two Chinese athletes,/ who are magnificent physical specimens. -long Tack- Sam's .act embraces bewildering magic, extraordinary balancing and contortion feats, plate and bowl spinning, knife throwing;, javelin spinning, strap work, and astounding acrobatics. The Chinese troupe wiS appear in conjunction with a fine picture programme including Tom Mix in Zane Grey's story, "The Lope Star Ranger." The box pans are now open at the Utility, adjoining the Theatre.
