MEAT EXPORT COMPANY

The directors of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Ltd., report for the year ended 31st October, that the balance available for 'appropriation, as shown in the balance sheet, is £79,876 6s, which the shareholders are recommended to appropriate as follows : Payment of final dividend of 9d per share on 300,000 fully paid shares, and 4^d per share on 600,000 shares at IPs paid, £22,500; to add to reserve account, £10,000; leaving an amount to carry forward of £45,37,6' 6s lOd.

Regret is expressed at the death of Mr. Alexander Boyle, "whose services in the interests of the company," the directors report, "were of much value to the shareholders."

Mr. H. J. Beswick, retiring director, offers himself for re-election; likewise Mr. J. W. K. Lawrence, retiring auditor, offers himself for re-election.
