MEXICAN REBELLION
INSURGENTS MOVING INLAND.
(STDNII SUM CABLE.) (Received, 22nd January, 2 p.m.)
NEW YORK, 21st January. Tampico reports the simultaneous arrival of an American cruiser there with General Huerta, who announced that he would postpone the bombardment of the town. It is believed that the insurgents are transferring, their activities inland, so as to be beyond the reach of the American naval guns. The Mexican Petroleum Company has ceased its •operations, refusing to pay the tribute of £100,000 demanded by Huerta.
