LONDON, 21st January. At midnight the locomotive men of Bromley's union abandoned their engines It is reported that many National Union men at Preston. Newport, and Glasgow aso struck in sympathy. The Ministry uf Iransport holds a secret organisation m. readiness for instant operation in event of a serious threat to the nation's food supply.
