The only exceptions are the food supplies for the Army of Occupation., Even parcels/post is forbidden. Apparently the French action is a reprisal for the British refusal to accept the ; claims ol tne Franco-Belgian railway regime concerning the use of railways in the British zone.

News was. received in London from Cologne that the French Customs officials had issued a- prochmption practically prohibiting all railway goods traffic with. the British zone, except for foodstuffs and military transport.
