(SYDNEY SUN CABLE.) (Received 21st January, noon.) PARIS, 20th January. A French submarine while exercising at the entrance of Cherbourg Harbour fired v dummy torpedo and struck an approaching American battleship, the Colorado. The commander boarded the warship and apologised.
