CONFERS WITH RAILWAYMEN.
LONDON, 19th January. • The General! Council of the Trades Union Congress and representatives of the railwaymen's organisations held a conference last night and adjourned till to-day. The secretary of the council stated that the situation is delicate, and that he would rather not say whether there was any hope of settlement.
