OLD NAVALS
Members of the Old Navals Rifle Club ' held a practice shoot, ten shots at 500 and 600 yards, on Saturday, but marksmen found the wind rather tricky, and in consequence some rather poor scores were registered. The best range score for the.day was obtained by Ires. .F. E. Franklyn, with a good 47 at 500 yards. The best scores were as follow: ■ 500 yds 600 yds. Ttl. Kr Ei Frank'yn 47 33 80 W. M'Bain 39 39 7 g R. A. Hare 42 35 77 B. Goldfinch 40 35 75 W. Harris 37 37 74 A. Guise, 39, 35—74; C. D. M'Guire. 30, 37—72; R, Chapman, 37, 33—70 L Hare, 31, 35—6; D. Hare, 35, 31— 66; A. Hare, 25, 16—41. Next Saturday the club will fire service matches.
