PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

Another bright programme of vaudeville and pictures is being presented at the Paramount Theatre daily. The Musgrove Celebrity Vaudeville aitists present the third act of the series, and it provides excellent entertainment. Aubrey Knight, a .clever English comedienne, gives some delightful character studies and burlesque turns, and proves herself to be an artist in the true sense of the term. The main picture on the programme is a stirring Fox melodramatic production, "Hell's Hole;" which tells a vivid story of life in a mushroom town in the Wild West. A strong cast handles the various parts in an accomplished manner, the leading artists being Charles Jones, Maurice Fly nn ( and Ruth Clifford. A comedy and a Gazette are included among the supporting films, and good music is supplied by the Paramount Ofchestra. Long Tack Sam and his amazing Chinamen, one of the most wonderful acts ever eeen in the Dominion, is to appear at the Paramount Theatre next Friday. The company k said to be a good deal beyond the average or even that generally described as good. In the first place, each performer is a master of his particular turn, and there are some splendid exhibitions of juggling, conjuring, dancing, acrobatics, and balancing. The settings and scenic effects are unusually ambitious, the beautiful Eastern hangings being properties not often seen on the vaudeville stage.
