SHORTT'S THEATRE.

_ A bright and pretty comedy-drama entitled "Kisses" is the chief attraction this week at Shortt's Theatre. It is the story of the struggle of a college girl, Betty Estabrook, to reimburse her late father's creditors by the establishment of a candy factory, Betty possessing a secret ingredient which makes the candy specially attractive. In spite of the attempt of an unscrupulous competitor to ruin her business, Betty struggles bravely on, and wins success. The programme includes a comedy, a Gazette of interesting world events, and a humorous cartoon. In the afternoon a fresh episode of the serial "Hurricane Hutch" is shown. The incidental music adds to the enjoyment of the entertainment.
