THE ANNUAL REGATTA
Wellington's ■' time-honoured, annual yachting regatta, one of the- principal atU'actions of Anniversary Day, will take place on Tuesday. Interest in the comprebensivc programme of aquatic events will be greater than usual, on' account of the participation of yachtsmen from other provinces, who are in Wellington for the Sanders Cup-contest, which is to ■commence on the following day. Races are set down for all classes of keel yachts, small boats, motor launches, and hulks' boats, and a special event is being - put on for boats of tho Rona type, the adopted design for all craft built in tho future for competition for the- Sahdera Cup. At 2.30 .p.m.. the afternoon programme will commence, the .first race Stung' a youeial yacht handicap race, 'in which a big "field" will probably Hu seen.
