PARAMOUNT THEATRE.

Another bright programme of vaudeville':.arid pictures-was presented'at the Paramount. Theatre yesterday evening, when the customary change was made. Tho "Musgrovo Celebrity "Vaudeville art-iit-p presented the third act of ■ the series, and it provided excellent entertainment. Aubrey Knight,, a clever. English comedienne, gave some . delightful character studies and burlesque turns, and proved herself to bean artist, hi the true sense of the term. She was recalled'time arid again, and it was with ■some reluctance that the; audience permitted her to leave the stage. ■ The main picture on the programme is a stirring Fox : melodramatic production, "Hell's Hole,'-' wliich tells a_ vivid story of life, in a mushroom town in the Wild West. "Hell's Hole" is the name of a saloon in which but little regard is paid to the conventions of life, and a quick; draw or the -flushing cf an unhealthy-looking knife are by no means occurrences of an unusual natnre. There is a thrilling scene when, a Mexican resents the attention that a white man is paying to one of the girls' of- the saloon, and another big scene is that in which a tT.ain robbery, is very realistically portrayed. A strong cast'handles the.'various parts in an accomplished manner,. the leading •artists being Charles Joneß,. Maurice Fly an, and Ruth Clifford. 'A comedy ,and a. Gazette are included among the supporting films, and good music is sup-, plied by the Paramount; Orchestra.
