BUSH FIRES IN HAND

MELBOURNE, 18th January. The bush fires on the Sutton Range, are iiow well in hand.
A. cable received tome days back reported that bush fires at .Harcourt, a big hill district, had caused* many thousand pounds' worth Of damage. "At one time jt burned along a front' of over ten rriiles, threatening the township of Harcourt. The fire was then under control except on Sutton Range.
