The weather was ideal for the second day of the Dominion croquet tournament. _ The majority of the game 3 played were in the handicap doubles, the semifinal stage being reached. A start was also made in the open section, while the championship doubles were advanced a further stage. Results:-^ . Handicap Doubles. Second Round.—Rhodes Williams and Mrs. Bull defeated Mesdames Johnston and Webley, 26-17; Caughley and Mrs. Maddem defeated; Mrs. R-enouf and Campbell, 26-16; Mesdames Glass and Jaryie defeated Mrs. Tiffin and Miss Blake, 26-23. Third Round.—Rhodes Williams and. Mrs. Bull defeated Mesdames Lawery and Rhodes Williams, 26-6; Caughley and Mrs. Maddern defeated Mesdames Glass and Jarvie, 26-16; Mesdames Frost and Dec defeated Robertson and Mrs. Robertson. 25-19. Semi-final.—M'Cullough and ' Mrs. Eichardeon /defeated1 Bhpdes .Williams and Mrs. Bull, 26-21. Championship Doubles. First Round.—Mrs.. M'Cullough and Mrs.- Richardson defeated Mesdames Ulasa Jarvie, 26-0; plague and Mrs. Nprris defeated Misses Brann ,_and Blake, 26-24; Mesdames Lowery and Rhodes Williams defeated Mesdames Hogen and Pinckney, 26-12; H.P. Stratton and Mrs. \Yatkins defeated Caughley and Mrs. Bull, 26-24; Mrs. Clarke and Rhodes Williams defeated Mrs. Carter and Miss Anderson, 26-5. Ladies' Championship.
