HAME'S BEST.
.' The story comes from Scotland of an 'American who was looking over a shoot-ing-box there with the intention of hiring it for the season. In tjie' old-fashioned gun-room of the place was the inscription, "East, West, . Hame's Best," observing which the American exclaimed,., " Say, if I take this place that advertisement for Hame will have to1 come .down; my country has gone dry."
