"The cost of living has increased and is increasing " the resolution states, "and although the country is at present in a prosperous state, tho unjust and inequitable distribution of wealth is pressing unduly hard 'on railway workers. In common With other workers of the Dominion, we consider we are being unfairly treated in tho matter of payment for services rendered to the community, and we ur"e the executive to act immediately " °
