CHARLTON TO TAKE A SPELL.

"Boy" Charlton has announced that, he will not be a competitor at the Australian' championship carnival to take place aii Hobart. He intends, after the halfmile event on Saturday, to have a thorough rest. .The decision is in keeping with bis father's announcement last year that his son was to be restrained until he reaches manhood's estate.
