PRINCE ON COMING EXHIBITION.

The Prince of Wales, as president of the Empire -Exhibition, was the principal guest at a banquet of the Incorporated Association of Retail Distributors, at which all the leading storekeepers were present. ' ' ■ ' His Royal Highness referred to the great display of Empire manufactures at the forthcoming Exhibition, which would be the shop window of the Empire to the world. As president, he considered himself that it was the greatest agency in the commercial-history of the Empire, and hoped that the Wembley Show would, at least equal the commercial success of the 1851 Exhibition.
