BRITANNIA THEATRE.
The William Fox offering, "Hellls Hole," ■ starring Charles Jones, now playing at the Britannia Theatre, is of unusual - interest, li .-takes its name from the dynamic climax to which the story speeds, with Jones "stepping on the action," with characteristic daring and abandon. The big event preceding the climax is the onslaught of an avalanche, socially staged for this picture m the California hills. This avalanche, vigorous ihi its'.conception and thrilling in. its execution, buries tlm cabin in which' Charles Jones, as Tod Musgrave, holds his treacherous friend and the girl he loyes captive. , The picture'commences 'with one of those characteristic Jones exhibitions—a free-for-all fight. Playing the feminine lead is Ruth Clifford. Maurice B. Flynn is a convincing heavy.., Others.. in . the cast include' Kathleen Key, Hardy Kirkland, and Eugene Pallette, who plays a Mexican pseudo-heavy to the real villain of Flynn. The story is an original from George pen, adapted by Bernard M'Conville. The supports are of usual interest.
