BINKS CHAMPIONSHIP,
(DI TEIESR.tFH.—-PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHUROH, 17th January. The bowling championship ,was continued to-day in beautiful weather. The green 3 had improved after the wet weather, and were in good order. y Three rounds of the rinks championship were played, and to-morrow the remaining round will be completed before the postsectional play begins. So far the following are the leading rinks: — Seven wins: St. Albans (Dobbs), Kelburn (Stephens), Edgeware (West). Six wins, one loss: Sydenham (Chambers), Canterbury (Redpath), Edgeware (Davies),_Caledonian (Foster), Hatai^ai(Feilding), Newtown (Wylie), Taieri (Carswell). Five wins, two losses: Kaiapoi (Wy : lie), Carl ton (Kilgour), Wellington (Spiller), Kelburn (Gray), West End, Auckland (Bremner), St. Kilda (Smeaton), Timaru (Bush). St. John's, Wanganui (Benefield), Edgeware (Efford),j United (Marks), Sydenham (Spiller), New Plymouth (Smart), Sydenham (Mitchell), Carlton (Thomson), Kai Toa (Hadlee), Wellington .(Glendinning), Victoria (Tucker), Fitzroy (Smith), New Plymouth (Hill), Christchurch. (Rennie), Matai (Dee), United (M'Cullough), Sunnier (Raphael), Canterbury (Cox).
