Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from tbeir London house, ■ under date of the 17th January:—"Lamb.—New Zealand prim 0 crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy 9jd, Canterbury light lid; Jtorth Island heavy sjd, North Island light KM. Demand for New Zealand lamb runs principally on light weights. Prices weak, and look like going lower. .. • "Mutton.—New Zealand prime crossbred mutton. North Island heavy ,7'd, North Island light SJd. Demand tor New Zealand mutton limited. Market dull, but sellers are firm. . . .. . . "Beef.—New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds 4d, fores 3Jd. Demand for New Zealand beef poor. Market quiet." a ;
