There • will be racing, oricjtet, swimrmng yachting (Sanders Cup) bowls, dancing, mupic, shop djsplgy s etc W .various parts of the city during the (Vl> i-f, nd reverJr eveni "3 there will be a tuu bill of new and original entertainmenU at. &ewtow n Park. The .-prpcessjon, winch leavep Pogt Office Square at 0.a0.p.m , .will be unusually good. Nine bands will see to it that there wj)l be 'no--mugje/ shortage;, the many funny sketches and .displays, and the much.di»cussed taniwha will make it a procession unique lor its variety and oririnalitv. On Saturday afternoon, at 1,30, there will be a good programme of athletic events qt Athletic Park. A lot of New Zealand's best athletes will be seen in action there.
