T-ONfiON, !5tS, January.Tlio Billiards Association tendered a luncheon to Siedeberg, of Dunediri, afiii presented him with his fourth 'gold medal for his fourth success in the New Zealand championship. The chairman regretted that Siedaberg had not arrived in time to compete in the amateur chain pioliship qualifying competitions, and expressed the opinion that the council must consider whether the Dominions' champions should not compete without passing through the qualifying rounds.
