TREATING INFECTED SHEEP

A protest regarding the alleged, harsh .lipping of stud merino sheep at Dunedin was made recently by Marlborough itnporlers and forwarded to the district superintendent at Dunedin. A reply has been received stating that the sheep ar-' rived et Bluff on the Canadian Constructor, which wrts an. unclean ship. Some sheep were found to be infected with maggots, and were treated under the quarantine regulations. The sheep were lightly dipped and carefully handled.
