"Le Temps," commenting on the speeches of. ill". Leopold Amery and' Air. Chamberlain, says: "The mere fuct that the, occupation of the Ruhr appeared to bp contrary to British interests does not Britain .the right to oppose it. The occupation was earned out in accordance with the treaty which Britain had signed. 1 Britain could not regard the treaties as applicable only when they were not against British .interests."
