WELLINGTON SOUTH CIRCUIT.
The quarterly meeting of the Wellington South circuit of the Methodist Church was held in Trinity Church last evening. There was a good attendance of members. The Rev. E. Drave presided, and the Rev. J. G. Chapman was also present. .v : ■" ■ ■;: .' : '
The balance-sheet showed. a ' s rniall credit on the -working- for "the" quarter, ilie number on' the senior members' roll stood at 318, and there were 188 juniors. The Sunday schools reported a 'wellsustained attendance of teachers and scholars. '.The condition of the 'Christian Endeavour classes was also very satisfactory. During ' the quarter -74 decision cards' were signed and handed in to tli'o Rev. E. .Drake.- '
Mr. Hoare was appointed collector for the Home Mission !Fund. Messrs. Goodhull, A. Martin, and Dixon were chosen to represent the circuit on the Methodist Council, in addition to the two circuit stewards, Messrs. S. T. Martin and H. S. Pillar. -. : --:--A "■ ■
It was decided .that-.a retiring collection bo taken up in both churches on behalf of the WeUington'Methodist Central Mission.' - ••• V- '
