QUEEN'S THEATRE.
The audience of tho Queen'e Theatre thrilled as. the. title .of "The Dinkum Bloke" flashed on the screen last night. It is some lime since we have seen an Australian picture, and longer since one .has so genuinely appealed to the public. The settings are exceedingly fine for an Australian production, and Director Longford deserves congratulations for the choosing of the locations Apart from this, the acting of the featured player, Arthur Tauchert,.. was natural and unaffected. " He was well supported in the early reels by Miss Lottie Lyell as the wife, and Beryl Gow as the. young child, and later by Miss Lotus liiompsoii, Rene Sandman, Cecil B bcott, and Jack Raymond, also Dorothy JJaye. .The supports include the latestInternational News and a'clever Century comedy. The Queen's Grand Orchestra under the direction of Mr. A. H Jerome, . provides excellent, enioymene wuh a specially-selected programme -of incidental music. . . :
