PARAMOUNT AND ARTCRAFT.

Included on the programme at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres to-day is a film of last week's disastrous railway smash on the Main Trunk at Ongarue. Visitors to either theatre will be able to picture the actual accident which was accompanied by such heavy loss of life, and will realise some of tho difficulties that the railway authorities have to_ overcome in rtmning trains through volcanic country. The leading film, apart from that of the railway accident is "Jazzmania," in which Mac Murray plays the leading role. Beautiful gowns, gay drawing-rooms, beautiful dancing by the star, with a gorgeous background of admirers and motor-cars are features of the production.- "Jazzmania" is preceded by a magnificent cance prologue, produced and directed by Audrey M. Simpson. Filmhouse directors are making prologues a vogue, and this one is an entertainment in itself.
