Five, of these have been dis-' posed of'by mutual "agreement, as follow :—Board- 7 (Fouhy v. D. J. Jones), a draw; board 13," E.:S. ; Taylor. V. Dr. B. Mackenzie, a draw, the' local player's advantage being a very slight one; board 14, a win for Wellington (H. Godtsshalk); board-15, -■ a win - for. ■ Wellington (A. T. Craven); and board' 20, a win for Auckland (G. H; Edwards). Further negotiations are taking' place regarding boards 1 and 8; and 1 the Auckland committee is being asked to indicate the lines of play upon which-wins.are claimed by them.' The score is now Wellington Hi Auckland -6£ wins, and two games are outstanding. Both games count for the. club championship of New Zealand,' and the greatest care has to be taken in "washing.them up," as they will-have a bearing on the championship in the event of cither club being concerned in a tie on the number of matches won, in which case the honours go to the club showing the greater number^ of games won.; ...
