CONTROLLING BODY MEETS!
The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby League Football was held in the League oilice, Lambton quay,- last evening, Mr. C. H. Snow presiding:'. Others present were: £. Johnstone, W. Hedges, O. Swan, >\V. Anderson, Sage, W. Cocoran, and C. F. White (secretary). ■
A letter from the Canterbury: Centre regarding a representative fixture . was held over pending the receipt of further correspondence from the South. ■ .-
The secretary was instructed to write to the West Coast League, concerning the proposal for a representative,, fixture to be played in Wellington. It was decided that; in view of tlic bad stale of the grounds, no thirdgrade games be played next Saturday.
