ANOTHER REPATRIATION DEPARTMENT CASE.

MASTER-TON, 9th. July. As a result of investigations by the Audit Department, Thomas Richard Southall, secretary ■of the Masterton Racing i Club; and formerly secretary of the Masterton branch of the Repatriation Department, was arrested to-day on ,a charge that on 27th March, 1922, at Masterton, he forged_ the name of W. R. Walker to n Treasury voucher for £50. He appeared in the Magistrate's Court and was,remanded till 17th July, when investigations, into the matter will be completed and further charges will be preferred. > ■
