JOHNSTON WINS SINGLES AT WIMBLEDON.

LONDON, 7th July. In the final of the men's singles at the Wimbledon, tournament, W. M Johnston beat F. T. Hunter, 6-0, 6-3, 6-1.
In the semi-finals of the men's doubles Randolph Lyeetb and L. A. Godfree beat L. S. Deane and A. H. Fyzee, 8-6, 6-4. 6-3.
In the semi-final of the ladies' doubles Mile. Lenglen and Miss Ryan beat Mrs. Lambert. Chambers and Miss M'Kane 6-1, 6-2. Since 1919 Miss M'Kane has played Mile. Lenglen five times, and has never won a set. Miss M'Kane made a plucky fight on this but never looked like defeating Mile. Len"Jen.- Mile. Lenglen and Miss Ryan wfll now meet Misaes Austen and Colyer, the babies of the tournament, in the final of the ladies' doubles. Yesterday these young players defeated Mra. Youle and' Miss Ro3e, 8-6, 6-4.
