QUEEN'S THEATRE.
■In ''The Dinkam Bloke" thTAuEtra' Han Paramount picture, which is now showing at the- Queen's Theatre, there appears the country home of the Gilders. -Lhe director took the company to an old homestead outside Parramatta for the scenes m connection with this part of the story, but he was the only one who knew the exact place. AVhen Miss Sandman, who plays the part of Mrs. Gilder m the production, saw . the house- she was agreeably, and genuinely surprised It had at one time been her'honoraria, she was able to show the company: the beauty of the old house. Arthur Tauchert and Lottie Lyell, the stars of the production, are well-known to audiences throughout Australasia from their success m "The Sentimental Bloke," the immortal classic by C. J. Dennis. The earnestness evinced by Mr. Tauchert in his characterisations, as well- as "his" naturalness proclaim him as the"foremost screen player in Australia to-day, a distinction that is enhanced by his masterly handhng of the chief role, Bill Garvin, m The Dinkum Bloke."
