RACING APPEAL DISMISSED

In the matter of the appeal by Albert trarnett against-the decision of the Wanganui District Committee in,disqualifying him for a term of five • years from ■26th March. 1923, for a breach of the rules of racing, and in disqualifyino- the horse Mountain Chief for life,' the following judgment has been delivered by the judges (Sir George Clifford and Messrs. C. P. Skerrett and 0. S. Watkins) :—"After a careful consideration of the evidence, w-e are satisfied that the Wanganui District Committee were justified in the decision at which they arrived; and we, therefore, affirm their decision and dismiss the apreal. We order the deposit made on the appeal to be forfeited."
