This afternoon departmental papers are being laid on the table, and these, together with a. Select Committee report, are bound to give rise to some discussion. The Juries Amendment Bill holds pride- of place on the Order Paper, and the second reading should be agreed to quickly. The State Advances Amendment Bill is next on the list, and should be sufficient ,to occupy the attention of the House this evening. One new Government Bill will make its appearance, and "notice will be given of several others.
