I had two lawyers and sixteen witnesses come to prove an alibi; Both my lawyers made strong speeches to the jury, but all was in vain. I was sentenced to four years of hard labour. • yisitor—l don't see why you weren't acquitted. Convict—Well, there wae just one weak point in my defence—they found the watch in my pocket.
