RAMBLERS DEFEAT WELLINGTON

The men's senior games on Saturday, although not producing anything in the nature of brilliant hockey, were interesting. Ramblers defeated" Centralhy three goals to nil, and Wellington'were lucky in securing a three to two verdict in their match -with Karori B.

Ramblers, in their match with Central, played a good game. The defence' of their backs was perhaps the mo6t pleasing feature of the game. "Dick". Hunter, in goal, was sure, and on one occasion he saved four hot shots in the space of about half a minute. Then there was M'Eldowney, the old United player and a "rep." of former years.
