Sir,-—ln perosing the programme of the Wellington Competitions Society, drawn up «nd'6r the heading of dancing, I noticed that the aggregate for "points medial is to be confined to Highland, fling,.sword dance, Seanh truibl»s, and real of Tulloeh. In former years the "points medal" has embraced the aggregate for n'&tioual 'dancing, i.e., English, Iliiah, a.nd. Scotch. Why are the twfi former excluded in this programme? As & number of competitors (amottgst th&m champions) a.;> very dissatisfied ' with such an. exclusion, it is hoped the c6m>. mittee will adljuat this to conditions laid down in former j'eafs>, otherwise tJie result will be many withdrawals and much unpleasantness.
