THE KING'S THEATRE.
What is , claimed to be one of the biggest picture plays to date is "Mickey," Mack Sennett's first special with the title role expressly written for Mabel Normand) which .is to be screened at the King's Theatre this evening. The story, with: its comedy, its romance, is said to be irresistibly enthralling. It iB claimed to be finer than "The Whip" or "The World." The : sporting life scene, including the race, the hunt, and the fight are very exciting. Miss Normand's supporting cast is well chosen. Wheeler Oakman is described as a fine hero, Lewis Cody an equally fine villain. George Nichols was aptly cast as Joe Meadows, Mickey's guardian. Minnie, the old Indian who has appeared in so many pictures, never gave a better performance than in "Mickey." Minta Durfee, Laura La. Varnie, and Tom Kennedy complete the cast. Special music accompanies the film, including the song "Mickey," to be sung by Miss Eileen Driscoll just prior to the picture being shown. The full programme and orchestra will be. presented at the matinee to-morrow.
