Mr. W. G. BiddehYS.M., to-day gave judgment for plaintiff by default'in the following undefended civil cases :—Edmund Charles v. Minnie Gavin £9, costs £1 3s 6d; Mrs. C. B. Lempriere v. Mrs. Celia Campbell, £19 14s 6d, costs £2 Os 6d; Public Trustee v. Ernest Brown, £20, costs £2 6s; Eleanor Constance Moye v. Caroline Frances Wallace, £3 18s 2d, costs 10s,; Ernest Gregory Pilcher v. D. R. MacDougall, £9, costs £1 3s 6d; H. W. Willaus v. David Murray, £14 12s 6d, costs £1 10s 6d. JUDGMENT. SUMMONS CASES. Orders were made as follows in judgment summons cases :—James Wright was ordered to pay Edward Collie, Ltd., £3 ls 3d by 28th August, or go to gaol for three days. John Morrell was ordered to pay £1 9s _to the Wellington Motorcar, Horse-drivers' and Liverystable Employees' Union by the same date, or to go to gaol for 24 hours. William Aubrey must pay G. W. Kempton £8 9s by 28th August or serve a week in gaol. POSSESSION CASE. A. H. Cooper was ordered to deliver up to Christina Gillow the possession, of a tenement before 29th August. Defendant was further ordered1 to pay plaintiff £12 14s 7d, and' costs amounting to !£2 3s. (Proceeding.)
