GOVERNMENT WAR BONUS
APPEAL BY SUPERANNUATED RAILWAYMEN.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A meeting of the Superannuated RailSvaymen's. Association adopted' the report of the committee appointed to draw up a, letter to members of Parliament, New Zealand Trades Councils, and Railway Unions. The report appealed for assistance in endorsing the following resolu : tions and bringing them under the notice of the Premier, Cabinet,- and the press : — " (1) That superannuated men be represented on the Railway Superannuation Board; (2) . that superannuated men participate in the threee shillings per ( day war bonus to the extent of onesixtieth for every year of service."
