The Ashley County Council has received a letter from the Minister of Agriculture in reference to the kea pest (reports the Lyttelton Times). The Minister stated that, before it could be made i*npulsory for County Councils to destroy keas, legislation would be necessary, and, in that case the opinions of other local bodies must be considered: For Bronchial Coughs, take Woods' Greai Bep^nnini Cure,—Advt.
