AUSTRALIANS FOR RUSSIAN FRONT

LONDON, 24th May. The first party of Australian machinegunners, numbering thirty, lias gone to Murmansk. All have been demobilised. Their only connection with Australia is their right to use the Australian uniform. Sixty others, who are joining the infantry force, are not even permitted to retain the uniform or draw allowances on,the Australian basis when they join up with the British contingent.
